The Sopwith Seaplane, Admiralty Type 880 was a Sopwith Type 860 with a 200hp Canton Unné. Like its progenitor, it was found unsuccessful as a torpedo carrier and reverted to conventional patrol duties until retired in mid-1916.[1]
