The Rumpler 4B11 was a floatplane based on the earlier Rumpler 4A13 landplane and unsuccessful 4B1 seaplane. Roughly eight of them were built and used during 1914 for patrol work. [1]

Five were ordered in 1914 but one was not delivered. The rest arrived in August through December 1914. They served mostly at the Holtenau and Putzig bases.[2]
