D.F.W. desired to establish an Austro-Hungarian subsidiary, and hence was born Ungarische Lloyd Flugzeug und Motorenfabrik A.G. in Budapest and Aszód (Magyar Lloyd Repülögép és Motorgyár R.T.) in 1914. They produced a series of two-seaters in modest numbers as well as licensed versions of Aviatik C.I's and D.I's. [1]
