Junkers Flugzeug-Werke A.G., Dessau, built Hugo Junkers' revolutionary metal-skinned planes. Though only the J.I saw wide use, they set a trend that would last through the present day.

  1. Two giant bombers, R.57/18 and R.58/18, were planned,[1] and models were wind-tunnel tested, but the project never progressed beyond various parts, which were destroyed as part of the Armistice agreements.[2]
