Aviatik (Austria-Hungary)

Oesterreichisch-Ungarische Flugzeugfabrik "Aviatik" GmbH was an offshoot of Aviatik (Germany) struggled in its early day building only Aviatik P14 planes, and they brought in some new talent including Julius von Berg as their chief engineer. Berg-designed aircraft are sometimes designated "Aviatik (Berg)" to distinguish them from similar designs by the parent company. Aviatik also license-built Knoller B.I's and C.I's.[1]
